 So you're thinking about membership... We understand that 'church shopping' and pondering about your faith, takes real effort - you might be looking for a church that is welcoming or one that fits your needs, fills that inner desire to live your faith or partner with community. These times are sacred and we applaud the effort you're making.
If you feel that the Holy Spirit is calling you to Peace Lutheran, or you're still thinking about it, then contact one of the ministers or a family in the congregation that you connect with, and have a simple conversation. If you're ready to make the full transition, the congregation and staff would like to offer a word of greeting and invite you and/or your family to attend a New Member Orientation session followed by a New Member Sunday Worship.
What's our vision of ministry: “In Christ, we preach, teach and live God’s Word.” New Member Sunday will be held on Sunday, October 16th, 2011 at the 9AM Worship. We also will be hosting a reception following worship where the congregation has the opportunity to socialize, and recognize all members in the Body of Christ. On your behalf, we have also contacted a person, couple or family and asked them to remember you in prayer as you grow to share in the mission and vision of our church. Every single person/family asked, responded with grace and joy to have an opportunity to offer a word of prayer for you. |
